WORKSHOP – FREE!!! Dan Weiss together with his bandmates Jacob Sacks and Thomas Morgan will lead a workshop at the Music Department of the Janáček Academy from April 18 till 20.

A headliner for April 21 finally selected! You can get ready for a celebration of the 70th birthday of the legendary bassist Vincenc Kummer. He will celebrate with some outstanding guests, such as Karel Růžička, Radek Zapadlo, Kamil Slezák and many more. Vincenc will also christen five new CDs recorded with local musicians as well as with his ex-bandmates from abroad.

Andy Middleton, the American saxophonist living in Vienna, will perform with the Pišta Bartuš JazzBrothers in Semilasso on April 16. His great saxophone can be recognised in many outstanding recordings, namely the gorgeous Concert in the Garden by Maria Schneider Orchestra.
