Brillian Dutch pianist Erik Doelman is coming to Jazz Fest to join the Ondřej Štveráček Quartet which will be kicking off the jamsessions each night after the end of the main stage program. He was born in 1965 in Leerdam, Netherlands. He studied piano and arranging at the Royal Conservatory, Hague. He won the first prize with his group SCAPES at the "Leverkusener Jazz Tage". Also, he was awarded a special prize for the best soloist at the "Middelsee Jazz-Treffen". He has been collaborating with many stellar jazz musicians including the likes of Deborah Brown, Rachel Gould, Gerrie van der Klei, Randy Crawford, Chuck and Bob Findley,Tom Kirkpatrick, Philip Harper and many others. He recorded two CDs under his name for the "Blue Jack Jazz Records".
